about the practice

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and structured form of yoga that synchronizes breath with a set sequence of asanas. Rooted in ancient yogic tradition, it follows the lineage of Shri T. Krishnamacharya, Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, and my guru Shri Sharath Jois. This holistic system goes beyond physical postures, emphasizing a comprehensive approach to spiritual and personal growth.

Since Shri Pattabhi Jois and the lineage that followed has been based out of Mysore, the classes that follow this tradition are termed as Mysore Style classes.
